Situation

A local franchisor was scheduled to open his first of several retail establishments in just six weeks. The construction of the new building was wrapping up and he still needed to hire two team leads and 50+ team members. A few of the characteristics that were identified as critical success indicators for team members included a positive disposition, timeliness, flexibility, and money management skills. Bilingual talent would be offered a premium, if hired. Seeking to recruit efficiently and effectively while finishing construction and beginning in-store training, the franchisor sought outside expertise through SeeKing HR.

Result

SeeKing HR created a plan to recruit service workers from like industries with past experience in similar establishments. Utilizing a number of social media outlets and pictures of the location with the franchisor's logo, candidates were encouraged to apply in-person. Qualified in-person candidates were given a quick overview of the organization after completing their employment application. A pool of over 70 qualified individuals was generated from nearly 500 candidates. The store opened on-time with all positions filled. The client's cost: less than $75.00 per qualified candidate.
